We are intending to continue to have meetings in Leeds as well as Manchester.
The attendees tend to be quite a mix of people, from academics, to practitioners, to people with an interest in the subject.
Please come along to the next meeting that is convenient for you, you will be most welcome.

Hi there,

I found this site through the UPA UK website. I’m a post-graduate student at Leeds University interested in joining the UPA and would like to know if there were any activities/meetings planned in Leeds as the article mentions.

I’ve only graduated recently, and would like to know if the meetings are mostly attended by academics and scholars, and if i’d be totally out of place at the meetings.

Hi Nazeel –

We meet monthly, so the next one will probably be mid-october. We’re looking at the scheduling of meetings at the moment to make sure they don’t clash with other things going on, otherwise i’d be able to give you a definite date. We’re also looking at syncing up with upcoming / google calendars a bit better, so watch this space.
