NUX Manchester – 7th April 2014 – Should You Use Eye-Tracking in User-Research?

The next NUX Manchester event is taking place on Monday 7th April and will be in the usual place at the Code Computerlove office in City Centre Manchester. Start time is 7pm.

We’re kicking off the session with Katherine Thomas-Wilson from the Talking Shop, who’ll give a lightning talk on User Testing Lab Logistics. Following Katherine, we’re really pleased to have Adam Galpin, Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Salford speak about how (and whether) to use eye-tracking in user research.

Should You Use Eye-Tracking in User-Research? Perspectives of a Media Psychologist

Adam is a lecturer in Media Psychology at the University of Salford, specialising in using eye-tracking to understand perception and attention. Since working on usability issues with CBeebies he’s been applying his expertise to media and technology use. He developed and runs the UK’s first (and only) Masters programme in Media Psychology.
