Wasn’t clear if we had a venue sorted for tomorrow, could someone confirm if we have. Otherwise Wetherspoons on Princess street might be a good option they have a few side rooms that are often empty. http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/pubs/pub-details.php?PubNumber=2103

I can make tonight. Anyone else?

  2. Rachel says:

    It’s a bit quiet in here…

We’ve decided to postpone until next thursday 11th September.

  3. Tero says:

That’s great as it will give me chance to attend as well.

Will you add it to Upcoming?

  4. Rachel says:

Sure. I’m just waiting on a venue. If we are stuck, would Orange be able to accomodate us again? We had originally planned to alternate between Leeds and Manchester so we are due a visit!

  5. Tero says:

Shouldn’t be a problem, but I’ll find out and confirm that.

Would there be willingness to travel to Leeds for a meeting?

Last time we ended up having a rather small (although very interesting) meet up here. Although, there’s a limit how many we can fit into the meeting room. :)

I think we could do Leeds again but would want to check on numbers first.

I have also spoken to the Wetherspoons pub i mentioned and they are happy for us to use one of their rooms although they can’t book it for us. They said other groups do use the venue as well.

  7. Tero says:

Orange is happy to support our group by offering meeting space for next Thursday.

Now we need to figure out how many would be willing to travel to Leeds and what’s the agenda.

I’m happy and free to travel to Manchester on Thursday, if we decide to have the meeting over there.

I’ve been speaking to Judith on e-mail over the weekend and getting to Leeds on thursday logistically a bit difficult for her. So can we do wetherspoons? I’m going to send out a mail today to see if we have enough people – if not, we can put it off until the October meeting.
