The next meeting will take place at the Orange offices in Leeds.  A big thanks to Tero for fixing that up.

We haven’t agreed the content yet, but quite a few ideas came out of yesterday’s session.  Looking at my notes we have the following candidates:

  • Problem Solving
  • Personas (Judith?)
  • Something about marketing and its relationship (or lack of) with usability.
  • Automated analytics / metrics (Hugo?)

Problem solving might be a good one because it doesn’t require anyone to write a presentation.

If you have  a preference, or any further ideas we can pursue, please post.

Rachel

I’ve added the next meeting to upcoming.

Please let me know or mark yourself as “I’m Going” so I can estimate the space requirements.

  2. tero says:

I could give a talk about “A definition of User Experience”, which should trigger some discussions.

It would be interesting to tie this one up with discussions on the role of market research in user experience as there are plenty of overlap.

I’m really interested in personas and analytics/automated metrics. However, as I won’t be able to come next month, I’d love for one of these to be postponed till the month after!

  4. Rachel says:

Since Judith has only just given a presentation, it’s not really fair to ask her for another one just yet, so maybe we should leave personas for a future meeting.

  5. tero says:

    That’s very true.

I’m happy to give the presentation on User Experience and as said, it should trigger some discussions on the subject, so if people are not scared off by the thought of that, shall I prepare for that and send out the updated agenda?

  6. Rachel says:

    That sounds good to me.

  7. Hugo says:

That sounds good to me too Tero. See you all there.
